ICSID Published Its Annual Report for 2025
The International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (“ICSID”) has published its annual report (“Report”) for the 2025 fiscal year. Celebrating its 60th anniversary this year, ICSID achieved a significant milestone by registering its 1000th case in August 2024. The report showcases strong global demand: 67 new cases, 81 concluded, and 347 administered. Most proceedings arise under investment treaties; extractives and energy dominate sectorally. The Report highlights expanded outreach, training, and partnerships.
